Becoming a Vendor
Vendor Interest:
We’d love to partner with like-minded small business owners in the Powhatan community. With a centralized check-out system and six day/week storefront, you will have a greater opportunity to connect your products with the marketplace. Rental spaces start as small as a 4′ shelf to a maximum of 10’x 12′ booths. We also have limited freezer and refrigerator shelves available.
Vendor Responsibilities
The Markets by design are a collective of vendors and rely on a covenant of understanding for mutual success. Each individual’s success will increase with the success of the group. Vendors are responsible for:

Monitoring product quantities and maintaining a consistent product inventory.

Design and provide a display for products, including shelving and decorations.

Creating and maintaining an active business social media presence to network with other vendors and promote the Markets.

Positively representing the Markets in the local community

Collect and pay appropriate local and/or state sales tax
