Our second granddaughter, Lauren Anne Hertzler,  was born  December 20, 2001 at 2:24 p.m.  She weighed  9 lbs. 7 ozs.   A few hours after birth she was sucking her thumb furiously and looking around at the big new world!!  This picture was taken a few hours after she was born.
