| These attractive little birds are a real
pleasure to have around. They domesticate readily and do well in
the wild as well. They are about 2/3 the size of a pheasant with
barred feathers on the sides, a bright orange beak, and a quickness
about them that makes them special. A real treat for either the
table or farmstead. They make a very peaceful sounding coo.
They are also a favorite to use in training dogs. |
