Ain't God Good!

 From a Grandma's Perspective...

.

...is a collective of meditative thoughts/devotionals written by Pat Hertzler.  These devotionals have been inspired by my beloved granddaughters and are a work in progress.  Enjoy and may God bless you.

Son, Keith lives in Powhatan and has two girls Emily Nicole and Lauren Anne.  Keith is a man of many hobbies---bowling, target shooting, reloading shells, and fishing to name a few.  He owns American Dirt Workz doing grading, septic tanks, foundations, etc.

Daughter, Jill (Hertzler), Obe, Karla and Ryan  Hostetter  live north of Harrisonburg near Lacy Springs.

Jill  graduated from  Eastern Mennonite University (EMU)  in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Minor in Theater and a Secondary Education Licensure.   She has a full time job juggling being a mom, selling Tupperware, bookkeeper for a local dentist and doing some book work for Hertzler Farm and Feed.  Although fast pitch softball remains her first love, she has enjoyed coaching and playing volleyball in several different leagues. She remains a country girl at heart and enjoys gardening in the summers.

Obe is the son of Darrel and Sherill Hostetter.  The Hostetter's home base is Harrisonburg even though they are currently living in Lancaster, PA.  Obe grew up in Swaziland, South Africa where his parents were missionaries.  Obe and Jill met at EMU and the rest is history!!!

Obe graduated from EMU in 2000 and works for the Rockingham County school system.    He enjoys basketball, tennis and computers and has designed several web pages including one for James Madison UniversityMountain View Elementary  School., Ridgeway Mennonite Church and  J. Frank Hillyard Middle School.  He won the Governor's Innovative Technology in Education Award  in 2003 for the way he incorporated  technology  into the classroom.

Come worship with us at Powhatan Mennonite Church east of Powhatan Courthouse at the junction of Route 13 and Rocky Ford Rd. Powhatan, Virginia.
