Other Entries.... Icy Edge ... 21 year old Thoroughbred

His third career was to compete successfully and safely with my daughters in 4-H and Pony Club. "Icy" relishes his Senior Equine which keeps him in excellent condition. Even after many years of strenuous use, "Icy" is still eager to compete. At age 21, Icy and Sarah won their division at Calais 2002 Spring Horse Trail!" Sandra Church, Midlothian, VA. minihoss@hotmail.com
Hamals Bel Ishtar "Star"...21 year old Mare
Essay: "Star is an incredible, intelligent, extremely athletic mare. Although she is 22 years old, one would never know. She not only looks and behave half her age, but she has also overcome Cushing's Disease, obesity, and chronic laminitis (founder). I have owned her such a brief period (8 months); however, with the help of Purina Equine Senior, pasture management, pergolide therapy, and lots of patience and TLC, "Star" has successfully recovered from all of her ailments and has stolen my heart and all who know her. Proper nutrition has made all the difference." Shanna Baker, Powhatan, VA.
Fib-A-Little... 30 years old Essay: "Happiness is seeing my 30 year old mare, Fib-A-Little, gallop around our pasture as if she were a 2 year old again. Fib has enjoyed Equine Senior for the last ten years and I truly believe it has given her energy and helped her remain in excellent health. Well into her mid twenties, Fib fox hunted and earned Championship ribbons at Hunter trials. Today, Fib still loves to trailride. Thanks Equine Senior!" Megan Proffitt, Maidens, VA. meganproffitt@yahoo.com
Apache...34 year old Essay: "Apache was my first horse, raised and previously sold by my husband who absolutely didn't like him. I've had him now for 27 years and my husband still tries to sell him. When Apache lost some teeth his weight dropped and that's when Equine Senior really kicked in as a super feed. Now his weight and condition are fantastic! People can't believe he's 34! I tell them -it's the feed- and No! He's not for sale!" Cheryl Nuckols, Crozier, VA. chnuckols@juno.com |
