Dog Vaccinations

We carry two over-the- counter vaccination options:

  • Fort Dodge Duramune Max5-CVK/42 Puppyshot Booster 8-way Vaccine
  • Solo Ject 7 Canine Vaccination. 

Fort Dodge Duramune Max5-CvK/4L Puppyshot Booster 8-way contains Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Coronavirus, Parainfluenza and Parovivirus.  It is for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible dogs against:

  • Canine Distemper
  • Infectious Canine Hepatitis
  • Canine Adenovirus Type 2
  • Canine Coronavirus
  • Canine Parainfluenza
  • Canine Parvovirus
  • Leptospira Canicola
  • Leptospira Icterohaemorrhagiae
  • Leptospira Grippotyhosa
  • Leptospira Pomona

Directions:  It is applied subcutaneously starting at 6 weeks of age.  They should be revaccinated every 2-3 weeks until 12 weeks of age.  All dogs over 12 weeks of age should initially receive one dose of Duramune Max 5-CvK/4L and a second dose 2-3 weeks later.

Solo Ject 7 contains canine distemper,  hepatitis, parainfluenza, paravirus, modified live virus and leptospira bacterin. It is used for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible dogs against:

  • Canine Distemper
  • Hepatitis (canine adenovirus type 1)
  • Canine Adenovirus Type 2
  • Parainfluenza
  • Paravirus
  • Leptospira Canicola
  • Leptospira Icterchaemorrhagiae

Directions:  It should be applied subcutaneously starting at 9 weeks and revaccinated at 3-4 week intervals until 14-16 weeks of age. Regardless of age, all dogs should receive two doses the first year.
