Class of 1970
35th Class reunion - October 22, 2005

Allen and Diane (Suter) Berkshire graciously
hosted us again this year. It was a small turnout with only 7 on
Friday evening and 15 classmates plus a few spouses on Saturday. We
had such good time sharing, catching up, reminiscing and story
telling that I want to make the pictures available for the rest of the
classmates.
In 5 years we will celebrate 40 years and we hope
many more of you will join us.
Thanks Diane for being our class mom and keeping up with
us. |

and now the class of 1970....
Facts:
- We were a class of 77 students (42 girls and 35 boys).
- 27 came from ministerial heritage.
- Two are deceased:
- Dave Neer along with his wife and daughter were killed
in a car accident in
- Darwin Wissler
- Most of us can now be respectfully referred to as grandpa &
grandma and we need our reading classes and hair coloring!
- Diane Suter Berkshire was the first in the class to be
married in 1971, followed by Pat Heatwole Hertzler in June 1972 and Dennis
Kauffman in August 1972.
- Dennis Kauffman has the oldest grandchildren.
- Two high school sweetheart couples who married:
- Joe Baer and Pat Beachy
- Darrel Hostetter and Sherill King
- We are scattered across the globe:
- Egypt: Elaine Strite
- Ethiopia: John Augsberger
- Honduras: Terry Hawk
- California: Curt Berkey & Kirk Martin
- Idaho: Karen Smucker
- Marriage of classmates children:
- Obe Hostetter, son of Darrel & Sherill married Jill
